A new place for the assistant
I explain that rebuilding the desk has brought me back to Fletcher. The setup now combines the Pi and a small camera with a projector above the workspace.
The earlier assistant and the projected interface meet here. The desk is the surface I want to interact with, rather than the separate Pi touchscreen.
What calibration needs to connect
The camera sees the hand from its own viewpoint, while the projector draws controls somewhere else in that image. Calibration is the step that relates those positions, so a hand gesture can act on the intended place.
This clip introduces that process. It does not establish accurate tracking, dependable touch, or working card movement. Those are the subjects of the later tests.
The image at the end is the destination
I describe the final dashboard as what it is going to look like when it is done. It belongs beside the working footage as a design goal, rather than evidence that the entire interface already exists.
